As spring approaches more and more states are starting to allow larger gatherings which means more weddings across the country. Couples will now get to celebrate their special day with the ones they love, the safest way possible, which makes me beyond happy because I know how special celebrating a union between two people is and how much work goes into planning the big day. If you’re invited to a wedding this spring and are a bit lost on what to wear I’ve put together a couple options based on dress code. I’m all for the mentality that being overdressed is always better than underdressed but understand being frazzled on choosing what to wear, especially when the dress code is hard to decipher. Below I’ve rounded up some of my favorite dress options: The Best Dresses To Wear For A Spring Wedding!

A few tips to keep in mind when shopping for a dress as a wedding guest:
-If the dress code says optional, you should try to dress within the listed dress code. For example, if the invitation says black-tie optional I would try to wear something that is within the more formal category.
-Avoid wearing white to a wedding unless otherwise stated. You do not want to wear the same color as the bride and most of the time brides wear dresses that are white or ivory.
-Wear comfortable shoes! I always wear shoes I’ve worn before and I know will help me stay on my feet the whole event. If you must wear a pair of shoes that you feel will start to bother you after a few hours, bring another pair of shoes with you to change into (I am not a fan of being barefoot at a wedding).
I hope these dress options are helpful as you plan attending your next wedding, and please remember to stay safe and wear your mask per CDC guidelines at any event you attend.
