Easing back into reality after a sunny Spring Break escape. It felt so good to step away for a bit, enjoy some warm fresh air and the kind of slow moments that we all need.

Colette was absolutely enchanted by the water. She’s at such a sweet, spirited age right now, and I found myself savoring every second.
Both Adam and Colette got sick but even with that, the time together felt grounding and full of love. A reminder that joy and mess often arrive hand in hand, am I right? I

Where We Stayed For Spring Break
I’d been wanting to visit Palm Beach—it’s not only effortlessly fabulous, but also a quick and easy flight from home. We stayed at The Breakers, a property I truly love. It’s beautifully designed for both families and couples, with four pools (including an adults-only one), a playground, kid-friendly dining, a kids’ activity center, and more.
We traveled with my mom and had connecting rooms, which made evenings so easy—Adam and I could slip out and enjoy the town while Colette stayed with Grandma, which she loves. They have parties in the room, she gets to sleep in a big bed, they have gummies at night, the rules are definitely more flexible on vacation for her.
I’m planning a full blog post on the trip soon—it was such a wonderful experience, and The Breakers really impressed me this time. More to come!

Hosting Easter
Adam and I had the chance to host Easter this year, and it was such a lovely day with family. I won’t lie—it was exhausting—but worth it. I made everything myself, except for the quiche, which we picked up from a local French bakery in town called Raphael’s that makes the best I’ve ever had.

I chose a soft linen white tablecloth and sage green napkins to create a light, effortless feel at the table. I wanted the tablescape (shop here) to feel just as fitting for a slow spring brunch as it does for a breezy summer dinner. The bamboo flatware adds a natural, timeless touch, and each piece was selected with versatility in mind. These elements transition beautifully into cooler seasons too—especially the flatware and the neutral charger. You can shop the table setting here.

To keep things simple, I leaned on easy appetizers: Trader Joe’s pigs in a blanket (a favorite), a few dips, cheeses, and fresh fruit. Everything was either ready-made, quick to assemble, or just needed a moment in the oven.
For the main meal, we served blue cheese salad, quiche, steak with garlic butter sauce, hash brown casserole (followed this recipe and it’s similar to the Cracker Barrel one), and warm rolls. Laura, my SIL, made deviled eggs. Adam’s mom brought sugar cookies and a carrot cake.
The weather couldn’t have been better. The Easter Bunny managed a successful egg hunt outside, and the girls loved gathering eggs (and eating every last piece of candy inside). I thought I hadn’t prepped enough eggs—but it turned out to be just right.

Cherry Blossoms For The Foyer
I’ve always loved a bold floral or branch arrangement in an entryway—and I just refreshed ours with blooming cherry blossoms. I’d been eyeing these stems from Alice Lane for ages, and I’m so happy to finally have them in our space.
In the photo above, I used 14 stems to create this full look. The soft blush tones bring such a beautiful warmth to the entry, and I plan to keep them through the fall. Sometimes, all it takes is a little floral moment to shift the whole mood of a room.

A Quick Lunch Idea
You all know I’m a fan of quick, nourishing lunches—and this one has been a recent discovery. It’s high in protein, low in calories, and comes together in minutes.
Use Trader Joe’s chicken soup dumplings and simmer them in broth (I used bone broth for the extra protein), then add a handful of spinach. I’m not a big spinach person, but this is such an easy, tasty way to get it in. Simple and satisfying—just how I like lunch.
