Since Colette was born, one thing I’ve consistently been surprised by is how hard it can be to find elegant baby shoes. If you’ve followed Coco on Fifth for a while, you know my personal style is very traditional and I love filling my wardrobe with classic and timeless pieces. As a mom and a fashion blogger, naturally I wanted the same for Colette. Although I had found traditional and elegant baby clothes for her wardrobe, I was having the hardest time finding shoes to complement those pieces. I searched high and low on retailer websites for classic styles like Mary Janes and fisherman sandals, but was always disappointed with the selection. Enter – L’Amour Shoes.

L’Amour shoes has been around for over 30 years and pride themselves on bringing a fresh spin to children’s shoes around the world. Three decades of craftsmanship has come together to reinvent classic styles for our little ones.
After browsing their L’Amour girls shoes selection and having Colette wear them, I can confidently say that the brand is appropriately named. Amour = love and l’amour ces chaussures!

What I Love About L’Amour Baby Shoes
Not only are all of L’Amour’s shoes well made and real leather, they are also extremely durable (an essential trait for rambunctious toddlers). The styles are as classic as they come. It’s nice to know that I’m investing in good quality shoes that will never go out of style and are durable enough to pass down to future generations.
The classic styles on their website are perfect for both little girls and little boys! You won’t need to buy too many pairs because, with just a few styles, you will have the perfect accessory for every outfit in your little one’s closet. And, although the styles are classic and traditional, they are not lacking in variety. Browse sandals, Mary Janes, boat shoes, sneakers, flats and even little boots on their online shop in all different colors and sizes. I’m currently obsessed with one of their classic styles, The Joy girls Mary Jane, featured on their website.
You would think with this level of craftsmanship and durability, that the price tag would be off the charts. In reality, L’Amour Shoes are modestly priced and attainable for new moms everywhere.
I’m having so much fun dressing Colette in her cute little smock dresses and bubbles paired with the perfect pair of L’Amour shoes!
