Spooky Home Decor Ideas For Halloween
I feel like Halloween is the first holiday you really celebrate and start decorating for in the fall. From pumpkins to cats to witches, it’s always fun to see homes decorated and what people dress up as. As a kid I loved driving around and finding the Last year, I decorated our table with fall flowers, small real pumpkins in different colors, and black candlesticks while watching Hocus Pocus, one of my favorite halloween movies (I am excited for the sequel which was announced by Disney but details are TBD). This is my version of easy yet spooky home decor touches. This year, I plan to add a little more halloween decor since we have a house and more space.
Decorating for Halloween can feel cheesy but you can make it elegant by adding a few basic things to your home that will take no time. Whether you are looking for gothic home decor or a lighter style, try natural elements such as small pumpkins from your local grocery store that you can spread out on your tables, a pumpkin fragranced candle, autumn colored linen napkins, eucalyptus as a garland on the table, and fall flowers to name a few things. I also love halloween themed candy like candy corn or miniatures from your favorite candy in small bowls near the couch and on the table. These touches will help transform your room into a cozy elegant halloween themed space. You can also fill them up with little items such as cards for gifts your guests can take home.
Below I’ve rounded up a few elegant yet easy pieces at a good price you can add to your home that won’t break the bank and you can collect and use year after year.
