The Best Photo Spots in Greenwich

Whether you are planning family, engagement, wedding, or blogger pictures, finding the right location for your shoot is crucial. When I first moved to Connecticut I wanted to find things to do and among that places to take photos. Since I take pictures to post on my instagram account, @coco.on.fifth, it’s important for me to find good spots in different locations. As I began doing my research, I found it quite challenging to scout locations, so I’ve put together a guide with the best photo spots in Greenwich and Fairfield County, among others. I hope this helps serve as inspiration for your next photo shoot!

The Best Photo Spots in Greenwich

Binney Park: With 32 acres in Old Greenwich (images below), this small park has lots of charm and so many cute areas for photos. I love the bridges and benches to sit and read a book.

Tod’s Point: Also known as Greenwich Point Park, this is the beach located in Old Greenwich that also offers walking trails. When you’re on the trail you get a pretty view of the water and you also get to admire the houses along the shore. You need a permit to enter, however if you are not a resident or know a resident I believe you can get a one-day pass, check this website for more information and current rules.

The Avenue in Greenwich: This street is filled with stores and restaurants. Great for blogger pictures. I love the front of Restoration Hardware, a small park right on the strip, and a building that was once a Ralph Lauren store.

Waveny Park: Located in New Canaan, this park is so classic for outdoor pictures. This is where I shot my birth announcement pictures with Carolyn from Tesora Photography (she’s wonderful if you are looking for a local photographer). There is a beautiful old mansion and a garden so you have several backdrops for pictures.

Bartlett Arboretum: Located in Stamford, This place has over 12 gardens so there is something for everyone no matter the time of year!

Tilley Pond Park: Located in Darien, this pond has lovely fountains and plenty of lawn for those perfect picture moments.
